Rachel Cleaves Dahlke
Rachel Dahlke brings over 17 years' experience in community development, community engagement, organizational leadership, grant writing, and strategic planning in the US, Africa, and Latin America to her practice. She is skilled at facilitating authentic community engagement and leadership utilizing Asset-Based Community Development and community organizing. As the former director for Westwood Unidos, Globeville Elyria Swansea LiveWell, and ProBelize, Dahlke is experienced at providing leadership and supporting leadership of others resulting in participatory budgets, strategic plans, community action, fundraising, securing community support, and communicating through media and stakeholder relations.
Rachel is an engaging speaker in English and Spanish. She has many years of experience training and coaching through experiential workshops for diverse audiences. Her work has been featured in the national press including The New York Times and National Public Radio, and awards include the Innovation in Community Engagement Award from The American Planning Association and the Metro Vision Award from Denver Regional Council of Governments. Dahlke is a Faculty at the Asset-Based Community Development Institute at DePaul University.
